Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass appropriate security clearance screening
  • Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform activities such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, and kneeling
  • Must be able to see and hear adequately
  • Must be able to speak and read or understand English
  • Must maintain professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
  • Must be flexible to work holidays and weekends as needed in a 24/7 operation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in housekeeping or similar roles in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures and maintain designated cleaning times per room
  • Strong communication skills in English, additional language skills are beneficial
  • Demonstrated professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform required tasks including standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 pounds

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner following company standards of friendly hospitality
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms ensuring they are guest ready and comply with brand standards
  • Organize and use supplies efficiently including linens, terry, and cleaning materials
  • Follow all cleaning procedures and safety protocols as trained and specified on the training checklist
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and work area
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining public areas such as restrooms, stairwells, and back of house areas
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries
