Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to hotel policies and safety regulations
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials safely
- Must have reliable transportation or means to commute
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong work ethic and punctuality

Job Duties
- Cleans guest rooms as assigned
- Monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Uses correct cleaning materials for designated surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- Transports cart with cleaning supplies, guest room amenities and linens to assigned guest room and positions securely
- Empties trash containers and ashtrays
- Removes dirty terry and replaces with clean par
- Replaces soiled bed sheets and makes bed with clean linen
- Cleans kitchen and sets lighting and thermostat to designated levels
- Maintains positive guest relations
- Resolves guest housekeeping complaints and ensures guest satisfaction
- Maintains knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
- Uses equipment correctly and safely
- Anticipates guests' needs and responds promptly
- Familiarizes with hotel services, features, and local attractions to assist guests
- Cleans bathroom surfaces thoroughly
- Replaces bathroom amenities in correct amount and location
- Updates status of rooms cleaned in assignment sheet and system
- Returns and restocks cart at end of shift
- Empties vacuum bag and cleans vacuum
- Ensures security of guest room keys
- Reports damages or maintenance problems
- Handles lost and found items
- Makes up cribs and rollaway beds and manages clothes
- Performs other duties as assigned
