Job Requirements

  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his or her attention so corrective action can be taken when appropriate

Job Duties

  • Clean bathroom and guestroom surfaces and floors
  • make up rollaway beds in a vacated room and notify house attendants for proper storage
  • properly use, keep secure, and return master keys to housekeeper at the end of every shift
  • keep linen closets neat and secure
  • dust all furniture, pictures, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly
  • replenish amenities, linens and supplies in guest rooms
  • respond efficiently to all guest requests
  • complete cleaning projects as assigned by manager or supervisor
  • report all maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms via work orders or telephone for urgent emergencies
