Job Requirements

  • Must pass company security clearance
  • Ability to stand for eight hours
  • Ability to lift or carry weights up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to push or pull weights up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stretch, reach, crawl, kneel
  • Ability to see and hear
  • Speak and read or understand English
  • Display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness
  • Flexibility to work holidays and weekends
  • Ability to work under a 24/7 operation schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping or similar positions preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of proper linen handling and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and maintain service focus

Job Duties

  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest-ready standards
  • Return occupied rooms to clean condition within specified time and accuracy constraints
  • Maintain a professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Keep housekeeping cart clean and orderly
  • Follow all cleaning procedures as per training checklist
  • Perform general cleaning procedures every 90 days
  • Report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of hotel public and back-of-house areas
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Understand and follow emergency procedures and safety protocols
  • Perform other assigned duties as capable
