Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, and kneeling
  • Must be able to see and hear
  • Must be able to speak and read or understand English
  • Must pass security clearance as per company policy
  • Must maintain professionalism and trustworthiness at all times

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens, terry, and cleaning supplies
  • Understanding of guest room cleaning procedures
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy and follow systematic cleaning processes
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and co-workers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas
  • Use and organize supplies properly
  • Adhere to company housekeeping procedures and brand standards
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly
  • Report and correct any hazardous conditions immediately
  • Maintain a crisp, clean, professional appearance according to grooming and uniform standards
