Job Requirements
- Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, and kneeling
- Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Ability to see and hear
- Ability to communicate in English, additional languages helpful
- Maintain flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends
- Display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful
- Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, and reading
- Ability to speak, read and understand English
- Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens and supplies
- Understanding of sanitation, guest room cleaning procedures, and safety protocols
- Ability to maintain guest privacy
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures in a systematic fashion
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
- Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest ready status
- Return occupied dirty rooms to an occupied clean status within specified time and accuracy constraints
- Maintain a crisp, clean, and professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
- Follow all cleaning procedures as outlined in training and specified checklists
- Report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
- Assist in maintaining other areas of the hotel in a clean and orderly condition
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately
- Follow general cleaning procedures every 90 days
- Understand and follow safety and security measures
- Perform other duties as assigned
