Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand during entire shift
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner
  • ability to stand for entire shift
  • able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen cart set-up
  • remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
  • restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use
  • replenish chemical bottles
  • report missing items from rooms to housekeeping supervisor or manager
  • report any maintenance repairs immediately to housekeeping supervisor or manager
  • handle lost and found items according to standards
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
