Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum six months hospitality or janitorial experience preferred
  • ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • additional training as required
  • flexible to work varied schedules
  • good written and oral communication skills
  • ability to listen attentively
  • physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods
  • able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • adhere to grooming and appearance standards
  • must be dependable

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • minimum of six months work-related experience in hospitality or janitorial services preferred
  • excellent customer service skills
  • previous hospitality industry experience preferred
  • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • good written and oral communication skills
  • ability to listen attentively

Job Duties

  • consistently offer professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests
  • anticipate guests needs and answer questions about their visit
  • respond promptly to guest inquiries
  • be familiar with property location, amenities, and local attractions
  • resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • complete required brand-specific and health and safety training
  • adhere to property brand standards
  • know fire alarm and evacuation procedures
  • enter and prepare guest rooms for cleaning including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, replenishing amenities, removing and replacing linens, realigning furniture, and securing rooms
  • clean supply cart and restock at end of shift
  • update and submit room assignment sheet
  • follow lost and found policy and submit items to Executive Housekeeper
  • perform other tasks to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
