Job Requirements
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, crawling, and kneeling
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and understand English
- Must pass the appropriate security clearance according to company policy
- Must display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must maintain designated cleaning times and adhere to safety and security measures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Professional attitude with honesty and trustworthiness
- Capability to work independently and as a team member
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow company standards and procedures consistently
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
- Clean vacant and occupied guest rooms according to company standards
- Maintain guest privacy and handle guest inquiries promptly
- Organize and maintain housekeeping supplies and carts
- Follow cleaning procedures outlined in training and periodic refreshers
- Report any discrepancies and hazardous conditions to management
- Assist in cleaning public areas and other hotel spaces as needed
