Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 60 pounds
  • Must have the ability to bend, stretch, crawl, and kneel
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, and read English
  • Display professionalism and trustworthiness at all times

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of proper linen handling and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to maintain designated cleaning times per room
  • Strong professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in a courteous and professional manner
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to prepare them for guests
  • Return occupied dirty rooms to a clean status within specified timeframes
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of housekeeping carts
  • Follow all cleaning procedures and training checklists
  • Report any discrepancies to housekeeping management
  • Assist in cleaning other hotel areas such as public restrooms and back-of-house sections
