Job Requirements
- Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
- Must be able to stand for eight hours
- Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 60 pounds
- Must have the ability to bend, stretch, crawl, and kneel
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and read English
- Display professionalism and trustworthiness at all times
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar positions such as lodging or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Knowledge of proper linen handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to maintain designated cleaning times per room
- Strong professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in a courteous and professional manner
- Clean vacant dirty rooms to prepare them for guests
- Return occupied dirty rooms to a clean status within specified timeframes
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of housekeeping carts
- Follow all cleaning procedures and training checklists
- Report any discrepancies to housekeeping management
- Assist in cleaning other hotel areas such as public restrooms and back-of-house sections
