Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards
  • Change sheets, make beds and vacuum in both stay-over and check-out guest rooms
  • Dust entire guest room including tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air condition units, and window ledges in all rooms
  • Clean all mirrors
  • Notify guest services (front desk) when service is complete so rooms may be sold
  • Report any room unable to be serviced within appropriate time standards to the supervisor
  • Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to the supervisor
  • Respond to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards
  • Maintain the security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day
  • Report lost and found articles to the supervisor
  • Replace light bulbs
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing materials, bathroom supplies, and linen
  • Clean rooms in accordance to the specific brand and company minutes per room standard
  • Follow procedures for team cleaning and self-inspecting program
  • Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner
  • Report appropriate complaints or requests to the appropriate department
  • Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Keep maid station clean and organized, and make rollaway beds
  • Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
