Job Duties
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards
- Change sheets, make beds and vacuum in both stay-over and check-out guest rooms
- Dust entire guest room including tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air condition units, and window ledges in all rooms
- Clean all mirrors
- Notify guest services (front desk) when service is complete so rooms may be sold
- Report any room unable to be serviced within appropriate time standards to the supervisor
- Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to the supervisor
- Respond to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards
- Maintain the security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day
- Report lost and found articles to the supervisor
- Replace light bulbs
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing materials, bathroom supplies, and linen
- Clean rooms in accordance to the specific brand and company minutes per room standard
- Follow procedures for team cleaning and self-inspecting program
- Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner
- Report appropriate complaints or requests to the appropriate department
- Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Keep maid station clean and organized, and make rollaway beds
- Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
