Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull objects
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and guests
- Attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
- Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
- Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use
- Replenish chemical bottles
- Report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
