Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment preferred
- Ability to walk, kneel, stoop, and stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
- Available to work evening shifts or open availability
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
- Must be adaptable and able to multitask
- Service oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints
- Willingness to abide by company policies and procedures
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office and other software
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures
- Willingness to travel as required for training and meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment preferred
- Advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred
- Demonstrate working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow directions with attention to detail and efficiency
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision
- Proficient typing skills and data entry ability
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, guest corridors, elevators, and assigned areas
- Deliver items to guest rooms such as irons, towels, and extra pillows
- Strip beds and remove soiled linen, terry, and trash from guestrooms
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to ensure areas are free from debris
- Dust furniture, lamps, headboards, pictures, and clean kitchen and bathroom areas
- Report missing or found articles, damage, or maintenance problems to supervisor
- Respond in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner to guests, managers, and associates
