Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance as per company policy
  • be able to perform major life activities including standing, lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, kneeling
  • able to stand for eight hours or more
  • able to see and hear adequately
  • able to communicate in English, additional languages helpful
  • maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards
  • ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • comply with all company standards and policies

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens and supplies
  • understanding of sanitation and guest room cleaning protocols
  • ability to maintain guest privacy and professionalism
  • strong communication skills in English, additional languages helpful
  • ability to multitask and work independently and as part of a team
  • commitment to honesty, trustworthiness, and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • maintain cleanliness of guest rooms following established procedures
  • organize and manage usage of supplies
  • adhere to safety and security measures and report hazards
  • respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • maintain housekeeping carts and public areas in clean and orderly condition
  • follow cleaning procedures according to training and company standards
