Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of hospitality or equivalent experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, kneeling, stooping, standing for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Availability to work the evening shift or open availability
- Proficient English communication skills
- Ability to type 45 words per minute
- Knowledge of property safety and security procedures
- Ability to abide by payroll policies and company regulations
- Able to work primarily Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm PST with occasional weekend or holiday shifts
- Willingness to travel for hotel familiarization and content creation shoots
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in hospitality or equivalent establishment preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Work well under time constraints with clear thinking and calm demeanor
- Detail-oriented with speed and efficiency
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Follow directions effectively
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Energetic, outgoing, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera software preferred
- Ability to type 45 words per minute
- Basic financial knowledge and arithmetic skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, guest corridors, elevators, and all assigned areas
- Deliver items to guest rooms such as irons, towels, and extra pillows
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas and pool/health club
- Strip beds, remove soiled linens and trash and dispose in prescribed manner
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture and clean bathroom areas
- Report any missing/found articles, damage or maintenance problems to Housekeeping Supervisor
- Respond in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner to guests, managers and associates
