Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull objects
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, courteous and service oriented attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen cart set-up
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
- Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
- Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
- Replenish chemical bottles
- Report all missing items and maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Handle lost and found items according to standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
