Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform cleaning duties and physical tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Availability to work part-time hours
  • Adherence to company policies and standards
  • Ability to maintain security and confidentiality
  • Willingness to assist in laundry tasks and other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant role preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
  • Customer service orientation
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
  • Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls
  • Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General
  • Follow Company policy for room cleaning and security
  • Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager
  • Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
  • Never leave the property with master key
  • Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
  • Assist with laundry as needed
  • Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
