Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and lift or carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel
- Must be able to see and hear
- Must be able to communicate with other associates and guests
- Required to pass security clearances
- Must maintain a crisp, clean, and professional appearance daily
- Must comply with all company standards
- Able to work any day or shift including weekends
- Physical presence at hotel required, no telecommuting
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of proper handling of linens and supplies
- Familiarity with guestroom cleaning procedures
- Understanding of safety and security measures
- Ability to use housekeeping management computer systems such as Quore and Hotel Effectiveness
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner following LBA standards
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms
- Organize and use supplies responsibly
- Follow housekeeping procedures and training checklists
- Report discrepancies and hazardous conditions immediately
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of hotel public areas and back-of-house
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards daily
- Follow general cleaning procedures every 90 days
- Maintain safety and security awareness
- Perform other duties as assigned
