Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and lift or carry 30 pounds unassisted
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel
  • Must be able to see and hear
  • Must be able to communicate with other associates and guests
  • Required to pass security clearances
  • Must maintain a crisp, clean, and professional appearance daily
  • Must comply with all company standards
  • Able to work any day or shift including weekends
  • Physical presence at hotel required, no telecommuting

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of proper handling of linens and supplies
  • Familiarity with guestroom cleaning procedures
  • Understanding of safety and security measures
  • Ability to use housekeeping management computer systems such as Quore and Hotel Effectiveness
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner following LBA standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms
  • Organize and use supplies responsibly
  • Follow housekeeping procedures and training checklists
  • Report discrepancies and hazardous conditions immediately
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of hotel public areas and back-of-house
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Adhere to grooming and uniform standards daily
  • Follow general cleaning procedures every 90 days
  • Maintain safety and security awareness
  • Perform other duties as assigned
