Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hotel, resort, or similar accommodation environment
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards related to housekeeping
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Certification in hospitality or housekeeping training programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards and procedures
  • Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock amenities to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the appropriate department promptly
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Respond courteously and professionally to guest inquiries or requests related to housekeeping services
