Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a hotel, resort, or similar accommodation environment
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards related to housekeeping
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Certification in hospitality or housekeeping training programs
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards and procedures
- Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock amenities to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the appropriate department promptly
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Respond courteously and professionally to guest inquiries or requests related to housekeeping services
