Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing
- working knowledge of proper housekeeping equipment usage
- ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimal supervision
- interpersonal skills and ability to work well with co-workers and the public
- eligibility to work as all U.S. hourly team members not represented by labor organization or collective bargaining agreements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proficiency in English to communicate with guests, co-workers, and management
- working knowledge of proper housekeeping equipment usage
- ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and minimal supervision
- interpersonal skills to work well with co-workers and the public
- prior hotel experience highly preferred
Job Duties
- Clean assigned guest rooms by priority
- promote cleanliness of hallways and service landings
- empty trash containers and recycling bins
- remove soil, dirt, soap build-up, and hair from bathroom areas
- transport and restock cleaning carts
- replace laundry bags and make up beds including cribs and rollaway beds
- clean closets, door tracks, under beds, chairs, and sofas
- dust and polish furniture, pictures, mirrors, light bulbs and switches
- vacuum entire room and spray with deodorizer
- handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
- update room status and report damages
- adhere to fire and emergency procedures and OSHA regulations
- perform other duties as assigned by management
