Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work part-time hours
  • Ability to stand, walk extensively and perform physical tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and comply with company standards
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to handle and secure master keys and guest property

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant role preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently within time guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to guests
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
  • Clean guest rooms to company standards including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, wiping down walls
  • Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
  • Follow company policy for room cleaning and maintenance
  • Turn in all items left in guestrooms to the manager
  • Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
  • Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
  • Assist with laundry as needed
  • Report any missing or found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
