Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours
- Ability to stand, walk extensively and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with company standards
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to handle and secure master keys and guest property
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant role preferred
- Ability to work efficiently within time guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to guests
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Clean guest rooms to company standards including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, wiping down walls
- Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
- Follow company policy for room cleaning and maintenance
- Turn in all items left in guestrooms to the manager
- Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
- Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Report any missing or found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
