Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Good physical stamina to perform repeated bending, standing, and walking
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to bend and reach to dust and clean
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Effective communication skills to interact with guests and staff
  • Ability to visually inspect rooms for cleanliness
  • Competent in using written communication for reporting
  • Manual dexterity to perform cleaning tasks quickly
  • Experience in housekeeping preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure cleaning needs and amenities are available
  • Observes knocking procedures upon entering guest rooms
  • Cleans assigned guest rooms thoroughly and completes housekeeping checklist
  • Accurately marks cleaned rooms to supervisor for inspection
  • Reports damages or hazards in guest rooms promptly
  • Secures guest room doors upon exiting
  • Maintains neatness of corridors and service areas
  • Turns in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adheres to all company policies and safety procedures
  • Follows safety and security rules strictly
  • Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Utilizes protective equipment appropriately
  • Reports unsafe conditions and accidents to management
  • Maintains a neat and well-groomed appearance according to standards
  • Performs related duties as requested by management
  • Assists other housekeeping personnel when needed
