Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks and lifting required weights
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to follow safety and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in all situations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Physically able to perform cleaning duties and lift necessary items
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees at all times
  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed if applicable
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next days use
  • Replenish chemical bottles
  • Clean room with the door closed according to standards unless requested otherwise by guest
  • Report all missing items from room such as irons, boards, hair dryers to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Handle items for Lost and Found according to the standards
