Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks and lifting required weights
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to follow safety and cleanliness standards
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in all situations
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties and lift necessary items
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees at all times
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
- Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed if applicable
- Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next days use
- Replenish chemical bottles
- Clean room with the door closed according to standards unless requested otherwise by guest
- Report all missing items from room such as irons, boards, hair dryers to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Handle items for Lost and Found according to the standards
