Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in housekeeping or related hospitality role preferred
  • ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions
  • developed reasoning abilities to interpret instructions and perform calculations
  • good physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and team members
  • attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Change bed linen daily
  • vacuum carpeting
  • dust all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers
  • remove fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, windows, and shiny surfaces
  • thoroughly clean bathroom areas such as showers, sinks, floors, and toilets
  • ensure compliance with standard room setups
  • report immediately any damage or missing items in rooms
  • report personal guest items found in vacant rooms
  • notify Executive Housekeeper about rollaways or cribs for pick-up and storage
  • manage pass key responsibility ensuring it is turned in daily
  • turn in lost and found items promptly
  • report unusual circumstances including no luggage, no service needed, sleep outs, or extra guests
  • shut off all lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving rooms
  • assist housekeepers with additional cleaning tasks as assigned
