Watermark BR is a distinguished hotel located in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is part of Marriott's Autograph Collection. This historic establishment is famed for its unique and eclectic architecture, built originally in 1927 as Baton Rouge's first skyscraper. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hotel or related hospitality field preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand and work on feet for entire shift
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Willingness to wear proper uniform and name tag
- Eligibility to work legally in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to exert medium physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Approach guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen
- Remove all trash and dirty linens from guestrooms and hallways
- Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and neat, vacuum as needed
- Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
