Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year of housekeeping experience preferred
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to work part-time including mornings, days, evenings, and nights
  • Physically able to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to commute or relocate to Burbank, CA 91502
  • Must comply with OSHA safety regulations and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Some housekeeping experience in a hotel environment preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety and health guidelines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Practice, train and implement company policies especially regarding OSHA safe work practices
  • Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to standards including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash
  • Notify supervisor when service is complete so rooms may be occupied
  • Report rooms unable to be serviced due to repairs or unsafe conditions
  • Respond to guest complaints and special requests ensuring corrective action
  • Monitor and control supplies and amenities to minimize waste
  • Report and log all lost and found items according to procedures
  • Promote teamwork and quality service with coordination across departments
  • Remove dirty linens from housekeeper carts and transport to laundry
  • Clean public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, and storage areas
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and meeting setups
  • Receive and sort soiled linens by kind, color, and degree of soil
  • Inspect laundry and report damaged or stained items
  • Operate washing and drying equipment according to guidelines
  • Fold clean linens and store appropriately
  • Respond to guest requests for housekeeping supplies promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of all public restrooms and public hotel areas
  • Monitor public areas continuously to ensure high cleanliness standards
  • Perform turndown duties and other assigned tasks
