Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks required in housekeeping
- basic understanding of safety and security guidelines
- ability to operate commercial housekeeping equipment
- good command of English
- strong customer focus
- ability to multitask and prioritize
- excellent time management skills
- ability to work flexible hours
- willingness to assist in laundry and special projects
- ability to work indoors with exposure to cleaning chemicals and solutions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience desirable but not required
- ability to read and understand written instructions
- good command of the English language
- second language proficiency desirable
- excellent time management skills
- strong organizational and planning abilities
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
- commitment to follow corporate and brand standards and procedures
- familiarity with safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Clean assigned guest rooms and stock with appropriate supplies in accordance with quality and timeliness standards
- pick up trash
- change linens
- make beds
- clean bathrooms thoroughly
- vacuum and dust guest rooms
- clean windows and balcony if applicable
- respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner
- professionally resolve guest issues
- promptly report lost or missing guest possessions
- report any unsafe, broken, or missing furnishings, equipment, or fixtures to the Executive Housekeeper or Shift Supervisor
- maintain required inventory on housekeeping cart
- order or obtain additional supplies as needed
- store housekeeping cart according to established procedures
- assist in the Laundry Department as requested
- perform deep cleaning projects and daily special projects
- perform other duties as assigned by management
