Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated energetic self-motivated attitude with a can do positive attitude
- Proficiency in English written and oral preferred
- Preferred background in housekeeping
Job Duties
- Cleans resident rooms and resident areas including stripping and making beds removing garbage dusting and vacuuming cleaning bathrooms replenishing supplies and cleaning windows mirrors and patios where applicable
- Inventories condition of room furnishings using the AKA Furnished Inventory and Condition Checklist as needed communicates to immediate Supervisor and or designated team member any damage caused by the resident or reports items that need to be repaired
- Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets
- Consistently maintains the same AKA standards and presentation of the resident rooms
- Reports hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to supervisor
- Maintains a stocked and organized cart while maintaining tools and equipment clean and orderly
- Brings Lost and Found items to Supervisor Manager to be logged in the Lost and Found system
- Communicates with residents and Team Members in a professional and friendly manner in compliance with AKA service standards
- Other duties as assigned
