Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work within policies
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks and handle cleaning equipment
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Willingness to assist in laundry and other departmental tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial role preferred
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to maintain security and confidentiality
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- Customer service oriented
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Clean guest rooms to DKN Hotels standards including but not limited to making beds dusting vacuuming cleaning bathrooms completely wiping down walls etc
- Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
- Follow DKN Hotels policy for room amenities
- Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately
- Maintain complete security of master room key Return the key at the end of shift
- Never leave the property with key
- Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Report any missing found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
- Deliver DKN’s Home Away From Home experience
- Perform other duties as assigned requested or deemed necessary by management
