Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year experience in housekeeping preferred
- Basic cleaning skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
- Dependability and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- Willingness to follow safety and security protocols
- Ability to work within guidelines established by management
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Basic cleaning skills
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members
- Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments
- Dependable and reliable
Job Duties
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
- Clean guest rooms to DKN Hotels' standards including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls
- Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
- Follow DKN Hotels' policy for room amenities
- Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately
- Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
- Never leave the property with key
- Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Report any missing or found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
- Provide assistance to other team members and departments
- Deliver DKN's "Home Away From Home" experience
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
