Job Requirements

  • Must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, and kneeling
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and read or understand English
  • Must display honesty, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professionalism
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas
  • Organize and responsibly use supplies
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and refresh occupied rooms
  • Maintain housekeeping cart in a clean and orderly condition
  • Follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
