Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial
- Ability to work morning shifts full-time or part-time
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently twist, bend, stoop, reach, stand, walk, talk, hear, see, and smile
- Commitment to follow company policies and safety procedures
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per team member handbook
Job Qualifications
- Ability to bend and reach to dust, clean, and make beds and bathrooms
- Ability to stand and walk for varying lengths of time
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff
- Ability to visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings
- Proficient written communication skills to mark completed rooms
- Dexterity to move fingers, arms, and hands quickly for cleaning duties
Job Duties
- Stock housekeeping bags to ensure cleaning equipment and amenities are available
- Observe knocking procedures upon entering guest rooms
- Clean assigned guest rooms and ensure amenities are stocked
- Complete entire housekeeping checklist
- Mark clean rooms for supervisor inspection
- Report damages or hazards in guest rooms
- Secure guest room doors upon exiting
- Keep corridors and service areas neat
- Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Follow safety and security procedures
- Know fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Use protective equipment
- Report unsafe conditions to management
- Report accidents, injuries, or property damage to management
- Provide a safe work environment by following all safety rules
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Perform related duties as requested by management
- Assist other housekeeping personnel when needed
