Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility

Job Duties

  • Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas to hotel standards
  • Replace linens and towels, make beds, and restock room supplies such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and beverages
  • Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, clean windows, and ensure all surfaces are spotless and sanitary
  • Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and dispose of them properly
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost-and-found items to the appropriate department
  • Follow health and safety regulations and infection control policies
  • Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to supervisors when necessary
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals responsibly and in accordance with training and safety standards
  • Ensure daily assigned room quotas are completed efficiently and thoroughly
  • Maintain equipment and housekeeping carts in clean and good working condition
