Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Physical mobility and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional hospitality management or related field education is a plus
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Proficiency in Alice software is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling as well as equipment use is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively or as a part of a team
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
- Provide legible communication
- Physical mobility and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Job Duties
- Clean assigned guest rooms and residential units following hotel standards
- Review assignments and ensure all special requests and instructions are met
- Follow the lost and found hotel policies
- Ensure all doors and windows are securely locked
- Report all discrepancies to appropriate department
- Remove trash and place in designated area
- Dust all surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and electronics
- Wipe and sanitize high-touch areas
- Remove soiled bed linens and replace with clean
- Make the bed according to hotel standards
- Clean and disinfect toilet, sink, and shower/tub
- Replace used bathroom toiletries
- Wipe mirrors and any glass surfaces
- Vacuum carpets or rugs, sweep and mop hard floors
- Check and replenish room amenities such as coffee, tea, minibar items
- Ensure the in-room safe is functioning and properly secured
- Arrange furniture neatly
- Adjust the room temperature to the designated level
- Do a final inspection to ensure everything is clean and in place
- Close and secure the door properly
- Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces
- Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
