Job Requirements
- Must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
- Must be able to perform major life activities including standing lifting bending learning reading concentrating thinking and communicating
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as bending stretching reaching crawling kneeling
- Must have the ability to see hear speak and read or understand English
- Must display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
- Must have a flexible work schedule including availability on holidays and weekends in a 24/7 operation
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar positions such as lodging housing hospitals or care facilities helpful not mandatory
- Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens terry and supplies
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures for guestrooms public areas and supplies
- Ability to maintain designated cleaning minutes per room
- Ability to maintain guest privacy and follow cleaning procedures systematically
- Professional and hospitable attitude when assisting guests
- Ability to work independently while complying with company standards
- Ability to multitask and remain service centric
- Effective communication skills with guests and coworkers in a friendly professional manner
- Teamwork skills and willingness to cooperate with others
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
- Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and usage and organization of supplies
- Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and return occupied dirty rooms to occupied clean status within specified standards
- Maintain a crisp clean and professional appearance following grooming and uniform standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
- Follow all cleaning procedures as per housekeeping training and checklist
- Report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
- Assist in maintaining other hotel areas clean and orderly including restrooms public areas and back of house
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Understand and follow emergency safety and security procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned within capability
