Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Must be able to perform major life activities including standing lifting bending learning reading concentrating thinking and communicating
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours bending stretching reaching crawling and kneeling
  • Must be able to see hear speak and read or understand English
  • Must display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • Must maintain a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Physical ability to maintain a friendly professional image during long periods of standing and walking

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar housekeeping or hospitality roles helpful but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens supplies and sanitation
  • Familiarity with guestroom cleaning procedures and safety measures
  • Ability to maintain designated cleaning times per room
  • Maintain guest privacy and follow cleaning protocols
  • Professional, honest and trustworthy demeanor
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and remain service centric
  • Basic literacy and understanding of English

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and organization of supplies
  • Follow company standards of friendly hospitality and procedures
  • Clean vacant and occupied guest rooms within specified time and accuracy constraints
  • Maintain a crisp clean professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of housekeeping cart
  • Report discrepancies to housekeeping manager
  • Assist in cleaning other hotel areas such as public spaces and back-of-house
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Understand and follow emergency procedures and safety requirements
