Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to following all safety and security procedures
  • Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and assist others
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to bend and reach to dust, clean, and make beds and bathrooms
  • Capability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse guests and team members
  • Visual inspection skills for cleanliness and identification of left-behind belongings
  • Ability to use written communication to mark completed rooms
  • Manual dexterity to move fingers, arms, and hands quickly for cleaning tasks

Job Duties

  • Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure cleaning supplies and amenities are available
  • Observes knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
  • Cleans assigned guest rooms thoroughly and completes housekeeping checklist
  • Accurately marks clean rooms for supervisor inspection
  • Reports damages or hazards like broken furniture or burned out bulbs
  • Secures guest room doors upon exiting
  • Maintains neat corridors and service areas
  • Turns in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adheres to company policies and safety procedures
  • Follows fire prevention and emergency protocols
  • Uses protective equipment as required
  • Reports unsafe conditions, accidents, and property damage
  • Maintains a neat and well-groomed appearance
  • Assists other housekeeping personnel when needed
  • Performs related duties as requested by management
