Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in a branded hotel preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities including lifting and bending
- capacity to push or pull up to 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- excellent attendance and punctuality
- ability to work varied schedules including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- must be honest, trustworthy, and professional
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- must comply with all hotel standards and procedures
- must be detail oriented and service centric
- able to work alone and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 plus years of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred
- knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens, terry, and other supplies
- understanding of sanitation procedures for guestrooms and public areas
- familiarity with guestroom cleaning procedures
- awareness of safety and security measures
- ability to maintain guest privacy
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask and work independently
- friendly and professional demeanor

Job Duties
- Daily clean and return vacant dirty rooms to a vacant ready status and return occupied dirty rooms to an occupied clean status
- maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
- report any discrepancies to the housekeeping department supervisor
- turn in articles left in rooms to housekeeping office for lost and found handling
- organize and clean the linen closet to insure quality and quantity of contents
- maximize job efficiency and neat, orderly appearance by maintaining supply cart and vacuum cleaner
- insure safety and maximum security
- assist in maintaining other hotel areas in clean and orderly condition including associate lounge, locker rooms, public areas, stairwells, and back of house areas
- respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately
- have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
- perform other duties as assigned within capability
