Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, crawl, kneel
  • able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 30 pounds
  • ability to see and hear
  • must speak and read or understand English
  • must pass company-required security clearance
  • must display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness
  • must perform major life activities including learning, reading, concentrating, thinking and communicating
  • willingness to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
  • adherence to grooming and uniform standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • ability to communicate effectively in English

  • knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures and sanitation

Job Duties

  • Provides excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • maintains cleanliness of guest rooms and organizes supplies
  • follows all cleaning procedures and company standards
  • cleans vacant and occupied rooms promptly and accurately
  • maintains housekeeping cart and personal appearance
  • reports discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
  • assists in cleaning public and back-of-house areas
  • responds to guest requests and inquiries immediately
  • adheres to safety and security procedures and emergency protocols
  • performs other duties as assigned
