Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year of cleaning or janitorial experience
- ability to stand and walk for over 8 hours
- ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- ability to push and pull approximately 200 lbs
- physical ability to stoop, kneel, and climb stairs
- basic English reading and writing skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- one year of cleaning or janitorial experience or equivalent
- prior hotel guest room cleaning experience preferred
- knowledge of hotel functions and guest profiles
- knowledge of local area including restaurants and attractions
- basic reading and writing skills in English
- strong housekeeping communication skills in English
- interpersonal skills including listening, smiling, and teamwork
- ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- conflict resolution skills
- ability to maintain positive energy and self-motivation
- ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- ability to adapt to various situations
Job Duties
- clean and service guest rooms to ensure comfort and satisfaction
- assist in cleaning and maintaining public areas
- respond to guest inquiries courteously and promptly
- deliver items requested by guests to their rooms
- restock supplies and amenities in guest rooms
- assist with special cleaning projects and turndown service
- collaborate with management and team members to anticipate and meet guest needs
