Job Requirements

  • Must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling and kneeling
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and understand English
  • Display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to comply with company standards
  • Must have good learning, reading, and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping or similar positions preferred
  • Ability to follow established cleaning procedures
  • Knowledge of guestroom cleaning and sanitation standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready
  • Return occupied dirty rooms to a clean status within specified time and accuracy constraints
  • Maintain a crisp, clean and professional appearance daily
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
  • Follow all cleaning procedures outlined in training checklist
  • Report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining other areas of the hotel
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Understand and follow safety and security procedures
