Job Requirements

  • must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • must be able to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, communicating
  • must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • must be able to stand for eight hours and bend, stretch, reach, crawl, kneel
  • must be able to see and hear
  • must be able to speak and understand English
  • must display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • must maintain flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • ability to communicate in English, additional languages a plus
  • professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens and supplies
  • knowledge of sanitation standards and guestroom cleaning
  • ability to maintain designated cleaning minutes
  • skill in following systematic cleaning procedures
  • ability to assist guests with a hospitable attitude
  • ability to work alone or as team member
  • ability to multi task and maintain service focus
  • strong communication skills with guests and co workers

Job Duties

  • provide excellent guest service in an efficient and courteous professional manner
  • maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and organization of supplies
  • push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds

  • maintain guest privacy
  • follow cleaning procedures systematically
  • assist with guest issues professionally
  • clean vacant dirty rooms to guest ready status
  • maintain a crisp and professional appearance
  • keep housekeeping cart clean and orderly
  • report discrepancies to housekeeping manager
  • assist in cleaning other hotel areas
  • respond to guest requests immediately
  • know emergency procedures and safety needs
  • perform other duties as assigned
