Job Requirements

  • Must pass security clearance per company policy
  • ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 60 pounds
  • ability to see, hear, speak, read, and understand English
  • maintain professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • flexible availability including holidays and weekends
  • physically able to bend, stretch, kneel, crawl
  • capable of multi-tasking and maintaining service focus

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in housekeeping or similar roles is helpful but not mandatory
  • ability to communicate in English, multilingual skills a plus
  • professional attitude with honesty and trustworthiness
  • understanding of safety and security standards
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • basic skills in following cleaning procedures, guest interaction, and time management

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • follow company standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures
  • clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and maintain occupied rooms to a clean status within time and accuracy constraints
  • maintain a crisp, clean, and professional appearance daily
  • keep housekeeping cart clean and orderly
  • adhere to housekeeping training and checklists for all cleaning assignments
  • report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
  • assist in maintaining other hotel areas such as associate lounges, locker rooms, restrooms, public areas, and stairwells
  • respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and ensure safety and security
  • perform other duties as assigned within capability
