Job Requirements
- Must pass security clearance per company policy
- ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 60 pounds
- ability to see, hear, speak, read, and understand English
- maintain professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- flexible availability including holidays and weekends
- physically able to bend, stretch, kneel, crawl
- capable of multi-tasking and maintaining service focus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in housekeeping or similar roles is helpful but not mandatory
- ability to communicate in English, multilingual skills a plus
- professional attitude with honesty and trustworthiness
- understanding of safety and security standards
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic skills in following cleaning procedures, guest interaction, and time management
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
- follow company standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures
- clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and maintain occupied rooms to a clean status within time and accuracy constraints
- maintain a crisp, clean, and professional appearance daily
- keep housekeeping cart clean and orderly
- adhere to housekeeping training and checklists for all cleaning assignments
- report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
- assist in maintaining other hotel areas such as associate lounges, locker rooms, restrooms, public areas, and stairwells
- respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and ensure safety and security
- perform other duties as assigned within capability
