Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting items up to 30 pounds and pushing/pulling weights up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel as required
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, and read or understand English
  • Must pass security clearance as per company policy due to access to guest rooms and property
  • Must demonstrate honesty, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts according to operational needs

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar cleaning roles helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and checklists
  • Basic understanding of safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong guest service orientation and friendly communication skills

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner following company hospitality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and supplies
  • Follow all housekeeping procedures and checklists ensuring thorough cleaning
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and professional appearance
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a hospitable attitude
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining other hotel areas including public spaces and back of house areas
