Job Requirements

  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, kneeling, crawling
  • Must be able to see and hear
  • Must be able to communicate in English, additional languages helpful
  • Must pass appropriate security clearance according to company policy
  • Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
  • Ability to maintain flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills in English, additional languages helpful
  • Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to multitask and remain service-centric
  • Knowledge of guest privacy and security standards

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and restore occupied rooms to a clean status
  • Maintain a cleanliness and orderliness of housekeeping carts
  • Adhere to all cleaning procedures in the company training and checklist
  • Report any discrepancies or maintenance issues to housekeeping manager
  • Assist in cleaning other hotel areas including lounges, restrooms, public spaces, and back of house
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Maintain a professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Perform other duties assigned and capable of performing
