Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 20 lbs often housekeeper carts can weigh more than 40 lbs or more to push, pull
  • ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions, up to majority of scheduled shift
  • flexible schedule to meet business needs
  • detail-orientated individual who is able to focus his/her cleaning responsibilities, ensuring that each room set up is completed as required by the property
  • ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude
  • ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
  • ability to work independently and efficiently
  • successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role

Job Duties

  • Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including but not limited to towels, linens, and amenities
  • accommodate and anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and professionally
  • thoroughly clean the guest room and bathroom area as assigned, i.e. vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen, emptying trash cans
  • report any maintenance needs or items left behind from the guest to the appropriate department
  • become familiar and knowledgeable with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures
  • meet hotel and company standards of cleanliness
