Job Requirements
- no formal education or training required
- prior cleaning experience desirable
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- strong upper body strength to lift up to 50 pounds continuously
- ability to push, pull, and maneuver cleaning equipment and furniture
- capability to work with arms raised above shoulder level
- able to maneuver fully loaded cleaning carts weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the work areas

- excellent vision with focus on cleanliness standards and quality control
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience desirable
Job Duties
- Remove items from shelves and storage areas and prepare cleaning carts with products
- maintain cleaning carts and storage areas orderly and in good condition
- clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in guest rooms, public areas, and hallways
- wash shower walls, tubs, and toilets
- replenish towels, soaps, and amenities
- hand wash floors to remove dirt and stains
- dust and polish furniture and wall-hung items
- change bed linens and inspect bedding for cleanliness
- lift mattresses to check for stains
- clean and organize closets
- vacuum rooms, public areas, and hallways
- inspect locks on doors and windows for proper function
- check all room equipment and report maintenance needs
- secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and materials
