Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Ability to perform major life activities standing lifting bending learning reading concentrating thinking communicating
  • Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks bending stretching crawling kneeling
  • Ability to see hear speak and understand English
  • Display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • Maintain flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 operation
  • Adhere to grooming and uniform standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions lodging housing hospitals care facilities helpful not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens terry and supplies
  • Understanding of sanitation guestroom cleaning procedures
  • Familiarity with safety and security measures
  • Ability to maintain designated cleaning time per room
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy
  • Professional and hospitable attitude
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and remain service centric

Job Duties

  • Provides excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms
  • Usage and organization of supplies
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready
  • Maintain crisp clean and professional appearance daily
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
  • Follow all cleaning procedures outlined in training
  • Report discrepancies to Housekeeping Manager
  • Assist in maintaining other hotel areas clean and orderly
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately
  • Have knowledge of emergency procedures and safety needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
