Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
- Maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to report unsafe conditions and accidents
- Availability to work varying shifts including weekends
- Adherence to fire prevention and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to bend, reach, stand and walk for long periods
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team
- Ability to visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and lost items
- Proficiency in marking completed work accurately
- Ability to work in a team and assist other personnel when needed
Job Duties
- Stock housekeeping bag to ensure enough cleaning supplies, equipment and amenities are available
- Observe knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
- Clean assigned guest rooms and ensure amenities are stocked
- Complete entire housekeeping checklist and mark clean rooms to supervisor
- Report damages or hazards in guest rooms like burned out light bulbs or broken furniture
- Secure guest room doors upon exiting
- Keep corridors and service areas neat at all times
