Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must pass company security clearance
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel as needed
  • Must be able to see, hear, and communicate clearly in English
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining guest privacy and following all housekeeping standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of proper housekeeping procedures including linen handling and sanitation
  • Ability to communicate in English, additional languages helpful
  • Strong professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills with guests and colleagues
  • Physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting and standing for long periods

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and ensure they are guest ready
  • Follow company standards and procedures for housekeeping tasks
  • Manage usage and organization of cleaning supplies and linens
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols and report hazardous conditions
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and public areas
  • Follow systematic cleaning procedures and training checklists
  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards
  • Assist with cleaning other hotel areas such as restrooms, stairwells, and employee lounges
